In December 2024 a fifty question survey was issued to schools across Saskatchewan asking about school food program participation, impact, funding, staffing, infrastructure, and satisfaction.
The study set out to understand school food program operations in Saskatchewan school divisions, including their impacts, challenges and opportunities, as well as to support school food program investment, development, and growth in SK. The survey included questions covering program operations, such as program reach, payment models, food procurement, expenses, staffing, infrastructure, food literacy, sustainability, program satisfaction and impacts.
