Kâpapâmachakwêw – Wandering Spirit School is an Indigenous cultural survival school in the heart of Toronto’s east end. KWSS serves just over 120 students that range from k-12. Their land-based learning program was started in September 2022 and centres itself on Indigenous food sovereignty, traditional food ways and urban Indigenous communities.
