No Students Hungry (NOSH), Gatineau, QC

At Hadley Junior High and Philemon Wright High School, the people cooking lunch are the students themselves. Through No Students Hungry (NOSH), students have the chance to prepare nutritious meals for their peers at low or no cost — building community and life skills along the way.
The program’s NOSH card lets students load money if they have it, so students accessing free food do so without stigma.
