Dig In will provide grants valued between $500 and $3,000 each to at least 30 schools across the country. K-12 schools in all 10 provinces and 3 territories can apply. Schools in Indigenous communities/nations and schools that serve a high-proportion of low-income, racialized or other equity-deserving communities are strongly encouraged to apply for these grants.

This grant opportunity is designed to improve school food environments by increasing students’ access to healthy, local and culturally appropriate food while providing opportunities for hands-on learning and connections to the local food system.
