New initiative started after Farm to School Canada grant

Students at St. Jean de Brebeuf got to sample their cafeteria’s new salad bar on Nov. 29.

The central Mountain high school’s student-run cafeteria received a grant of about $9,000 from Farm to School Canada to start the salad bar.

To mark the event, they handed out samples, promoted nutrition awareness and got student input on the new cafeteria feature.
