Melodie Ho is the Program Coordinator for Farm to School Manitoba. She is a Registered Dietitian who currently holds roles in not-for-profit, private and long-term care sectors.
Her interest in working with the Farm to School Manitoba program is a result of her long-standing dedication to community health and food security initiatives. Melodie has previously held an advisory committee role for a rural health network, and a director role for an organization that offers good food boxes, baby boxes, and community gardens and kitchens. She also regularly travels abroad to take part in mission work that includes home building, medical and dental care, and community development in the Dominican Republic.
As a Consulting Dietitian, Melodie works with youth, families, educators, interdisciplinary health teams, and several community organizations in Manitoba.
Melodie lives and works from located within Treaty No. 1 Territory, the traditional lands of the Anishinabe (Ojibway), Ininew (Cree), Oji-Cree, Dakota, and Dene Peoples, and the birthplace and homeland of the Métis Nation.
