School Description

Our school has a greenhouse and a food forest. We start seeds in the school in February and then we move the plants to our greenhouse. When it is warm enough, we transplant some of our plants into our garden. Some plants continue to grow in the garden. In the summer, students work in the garden and then sell the produce they grow at our local, sustainable market. We also have a food forest that has started to produce some fruit. We have a large variety of trees and bushes. Many classes work in the garden, especially during planting and harvest time as well as preparing the garden beds and trees for the winter.
