Suhail is a passionate health care leader, with experience leading strategies, regionally and provincially, related to system change across the Mental health & Substance use systems of care. Suhail has a keen interest in the transition to digitally enabled health care systems – with the purpose of creating a more accessible, responsive and equitable Mental Health & Substance use system. Recognizing the critical role social determinants of health, like food security, play in addressing mental and physical well-being, Suhail is committed and eager to support the organisation’s vision in supporting the health of people and planet.

Suhail holds a BSc in Health Information Science from the University of Victoria and a Master’s degree in Health Administration from the University of British Columbia. 

Suhail lives, works and plays from the stolen and unceded lands of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and sel̓íl̓witulh (Tsleil-Waututh) nations.
