Sara is an accountant who specializes in Charities and not-for-profit sectors. As a volunteer treasurer for her son’s not-for-profit preschool, she learned about the operations of a not-for-profit organization and experienced first-hand its direct effects on the surrounding community.

She then followed this passion to complete her CPA designation and continues her contribution to the Charity world through her everyday work with Humanity Financial Management’s various not-for-profit and Charity clients.

Sara, with her husband and 4 boys, also manages a small-scale farm on which they raise sheep, goats, and chickens. She is excited to bring her passion for numbers and sustainable food systems to Farm to Cafeteria Canada and create a lasting impact.

Sara lives and works on the unceded lands of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and sel̓íl̓witulh (Tsleil-Waututh) nations.
