How to pronounce Jyotika’s Name

Jyotika is the Grants and Evaluation Coordinator for Farm to Cafeteria Canada. She is
passionate about food security, children’s health and well-being, and promoting
equitable access to resources for all communities. Her work in research and evaluation
is guided by a fundamental belief in the importance of using intersectional and strength-
based approaches.

She holds a Master of Public Policy from Simon Fraser University where she did her
thesis on addressing gaps in social and emotional well-being among youth in BC.
Before that, she earned a Bachelor of Arts from University of British Columbia, studying
Political Science with a minor in Gender, Race, Sexuality and Social Justice.
Jyotika is currently located on the unceded and ancestral homes of the Musqueam,
Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh nations. In her spare time, you can find her exploring the
outdoors or doing her best to keep her houseplants alive.

Jyotika lives and works from the unceded lands of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and sel̓íl̓witulh (Tsleil-Waututh) nations.
