She/her/elle
Experienced in local food sourcing and fair trade, Geneviève joined the Équiterre team in April 2017 as an educational project advisor. Her work consists of supporting institutions (mainly daycare centres and schools) and helping to incorporate more organic and local products into their menus. She coordinates the Schools Take Root fundraising campaigns, a project to raise awareness of healthy, local and eco-responsible food through the sale of baskets of local and organic vegetables. In addition, her university training in international studies led her to take an interest in the global challenges of sustainable development. This interest led her to become actively involved in the Quebec Fair Trade Association, as a member of the executive council.
Geneviève lives and works on the traditional land of the Kanien’keha:ka (Mohawk) people.
