2016 Farm to School Month Canada Photo Gallery

The third annual Farm to School Month Canada has seen a beautiful collection of school food activities pouring in from across Canada. From Newfoundland and Labrador to the west coast of BC, students have been “digging” the rewards of growing their own food and enjoying the harvest in their classrooms and cafeterias.  We’ve been thrilled to hear how teachers are implementing subjects like; “How to grow your own garden”, “The Economics of growing your own food” and “Why garden veggies are better for your body than store-bought produce” into their curriculum. We are so proud of all our Canadians schools and thank you all for the wonderful work you do to get local, healthy food into the minds and onto the plates of your students.

We are  pleased to announce the recipients of our Farm to School Month Canada 2016 Grants!
