FR — Cultivons Châteauguay est un organisme à but non lucratif qui favorise l’accès à une alimentation saine, locale et solidaire à Châteauguay, au Québec. Par l’agriculture urbaine et l’éducation populaire, nous renforçons l’autonomie alimentaire et les liens communautaires. Nous développons des jardins éducatifs en milieu scolaire et proposons des activités de jardinage, de cuisine et de découverte des aliments. Avec les écoles et nos partenaires communautaires, nous créons des occasions d’apprendre à cultiver, cuisiner et partager, tout en sensibilisant les jeunes aux liens entre alimentation, santé et environnement.
EN — Cultivons Châteauguay is a nonprofit organization promoting access to healthy, local food through community cooperation in Châteauguay, Quebec. Through urban agriculture and community education, we strengthen food agency and community connections. We develop school learning gardens and offer gardening, cooking and food discovery activities. Working with schools and community partners, we create hands-on opportunities to learn how to grow, prepare and share food, while helping young people explore the connections between food, health and the environment.
