Iris is a policy researcher and analyst who is passionate about making a difference in the issues affecting our communities. With a background in research and program evaluation, Iris has worked on numerous research and evaluation projects in communities across BC and Canada on a diverse range of social policy issues including immigration, children and youth, health, housing, food security, environment, mental health and employment. Through her work on the Developmental Evaluation of the Local Foods to School Learning Circle Initiative on Haida Gwaii and the National Evaluation of the Farm to School: Canada Digs In! Initiative, Iris has seen the impacts of the Farm to School Initiative to bring healthy, local food to students across the country. She is excited to continue to support this important work. 

Iris is currently working as a Senior Analyst at Doctors of BC. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Relations from the University of British Columbia and Master of Public Policy degree from the University of Toronto’s Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy.

Iris lives and works on the unceded, traditional territories of the Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh nations.
