As a food champion and member of a school community here on Haida Gwaii, it is my honour to feed the children off the land, connecting them to their ancestors. Building relationships with our farmers, hunters, gatherers and fisher people, sparks joy in my life and the social and emotional wellness that we receive eating off the land builds resiliency in our precious children.
Sian lives and works on the traditional and unceded territory of the Haida Nation.
