Patti Murphy interest is brokering people and ideas to create new ways of working together across sectors to test innovative approaches to improve the health and well being. She has extensive experience convening and co-creating multi-sectoral initiatives at the local and federal level on a range of priority public health issues; including healthy living ands healthy eating, sexual health, HIV/AIDS, seniors, and problematic substance use. Her ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders; including private, public and not-for-profit sectors, her partnership-building and brokering skills and her goal setting approach, successfully move processes and initiatives forward. Patti is a strong communicator with organizational and people skills, coupled with sound judgment and a practical approach to problem solving. She graduated from the University of Waterloo with an Honours Bachelor Degree and has post-graduate certificates in public sector marketing.

Patti lives and works on the traditional territories of the Three Fires Confederacy of First Nations, comprised of the Ojibwe, the Odawa, and the Potawatomi Peoples.
