She/her/elle

A journalist and broadcaster for over 15 years, Marianne has always been passionate about health, the environment and healthy eating. Today, as editor-in-chief of the web magazine 100°, an initiative of M361, she is very interested in the social impact of various initiatives in the field of health prevention. Always thirsty for new knowledge, she is currently pursuing a master’s degree in communications at the Université du Québec à Montréal and is preparing a thesis on the co-construction of knowledge in health promotion.

Passionate about urban agriculture, she cultivates a vegetable garden on the roof of her house, a few steps from the St. Lawrence River, facing the island of Montreal. A garden that provides her not only with vegetables and medicinal herbs, but also with a lot of joy and wonder. She is convinced that food education and outdoor learning have the power to change the world.

Marianne lives and works on the territories of the Kanienʼkehá꞉ka (Mohawk) Nation.
