From April 17 – May 15 2018, Farm to Cafeteria Canada ran a trial contest and invited Ontario elementary and secondary schools to submit advertising posters and social media blasts created by students, for students, that encourage students to participate in their school’s Farm to School salad bar program.
Thank you to College Heights Secondary School (in Guelph) and St. Dominic Catholic Elementary School (in Oakville) for their entries! We’re so pleased to share them with you today in celebration of Ontario Local Food Week (June 4-10).
The College Heights Secondary School poster was developed by Michael Trang and Jasmine Lamieux-Chan in Melanie Schaffer’s class.
The St. Dominic Posters were developed by the Grade 1 and 2 students in the classes of Mrs Singer, Mrs Makhlouf, and Mrs Hart.
