Remember RFRK old digs?
Before we moved in 2009 it was Dufflet Rosenberg cake manufacturing facility.
We became her tenant and she was an awesome landlord. She could relate to our challenges because she knew what being an entrepreneur meant, especially in the food business !! Thank you Dufflet!
A lot of good stuff happened in this building.
Over a year has gone since our move to our brand new 35 000 SF real food kitchen in the Portlands, where RFRK new digs are. Wow.
May 10 will mark 13 years of making real delicious, nutritious and affordable meals and snacks accessible to thousands of kids daily with a mandate of supporting local farms and local producers.
How many millions of meals is that??
13 years of advocating and working with amazing organisations and human beings who fight for a better food system and healthier foods for all and challenge the status quo daily for a better tomorrow.
Being fueled by real food throughout our whole life should be the norm for us all.
We need to continue to improve on everything, to rethink, to re-invent, to challenge the status quo, to let go of old systems and rules and innovate and embrace change.
